Pull Up A Chair: Two Very Special Wine Dinners at Dear Annie
On the power of food, wine, and storytelling.
Hello, friends.
I’m writing this one to tell you about two very special wine dinners at Dear Annie next week that you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
First, we have a pop-up by two of our own:
A SEAT AT THE TABLE
Join us on Thursday October 23rd for a celebration of Black foodways and pioneering Black winemakers, curated and created by Dear Annie’s own Trin Benjamin and Pearl Carter.
Trinity is a self-taught professional chef whose menu highlights ancestral ingredients and culinary traditions within Black heritage. Their menu features indulgently reverent dishes like Sweet Potato Cornbread with Scotch Bonnet Butter + Miso, and Caramelized Salmon with Sticky Jollof and Seaweed. Pearl is Dear Annie’s Wine Steward, and their wine pairings feature Black winemakers pushing the narrative around identity and legacy in American winemaking culture. For this multi-course wine dinner, they’ll be joined by Ryan from NOK (Not Otherwise Known) Vino in New Hampshire—a talented young winemaker challenging expectations of variety, expression, and terroir in natural wine. NOK is one of our favorite new estates, and we’re thrilled to be bringing Ryan to the table for additional storytelling on this special night.
Tickets include a 5-course pescatarian communal dinner with additional surprises throughout the evening. An optional wine pairing is available, in addition to suggested pairings by the glass. Seatings available at 5 or 7:30PM.

Then, a returning guest:
GREECE IS THE WORD
Because you loved our collab with Katerina Liakos so much last time, we’re running it back. Join us 10/19 + 10/20 for an a la carte menu of Greek delights and fine and rare natural Greek wines by the glass, curated by yours truly. Last time Katerina popped up y’all absolutely raved, so don’t miss it this time!
It’s going to be a delicious week, and I hope we’ll see you.
LET US TAKE DINNER OFF YOUR PLATE
A reminder that Family Meal no longer requires a preorder! This week, we have Nor’easter-appropriate Whole Rotisserie-style Featherbrook Farms chickens (the most humanely raised, delicious, glorious chickens I’ve ever encountered), Roasted Cabbage with Paprika, and Spanish-style Potatoes with Red Peppers. Comfort food, personified.
Another reminder that Family Meal is local! Organic! And available for pickup at both Dear Annie and Wild Child! If it’s visible on the website, it’s ready for you to grab and go! This week’s Family Meal is ready for pickup until Friday, so come + get it!
That’s all for now, loves.
Be well, eat well.
XOXO
L
