Heavy Rotation: Cold World, Hot Soup
We're just trying to keep warm in this weird place. Pot-au-feu helps.
What We’ve Been Doing:
We’ve been having events, events, and more events! It’s the best time of year for partying and hanging out in a space (produces good heat during the cold, brittle New England nights). Beaujolais Nouveau really set the tone a few weeks. We had a bar full of people, a board full of wine, and a pot full of French meat soup! Despite the absolutely atrocious cold and wet weather we experienced that night, y’all really came out to help us celebrate our favorite wine holiday.
What We’re Reading:
We’re lucky to be part of the often tight-knit, inventive beverage space community here. 6 years in and we’re continuously thankful for the support of guests and other industry professionals alike. Much thanks to Gabrielle Maline for the shoutout and congrats to everyone who made the list for Wine Enthusiast. Check out our other friends who made the list here.
What We’re Listening To:
The very sexy, cool vinyl set at Dear Annie from Stealth Mode. The vibes are undeniably perfect for a hang with friends or a date night with your lover. She’s here every first Sunday of the month for the Golden Hour set (5-7:30pm).
What We’re Drinking:
2022 Cati Ribot ‘Bosqueta,’ Mallorca, Spain at Dear Annie. Ribot is a female winemaking icon from the island of Mallorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands perfectly situated in Mediterranean Sea. She comes from a winemaking lineage and has transitioned her farm into a biodynamic, organic oasis that focuses on the region’s native varietals. This selection is a unique pet-nat made from Giró Ros and Presnal Blanc, some of the first and last grapes to be harvested. That makes for a complex, yet fresh and zippy glass. Think ripe citrus with a sprinkle of salt. Have this with seafood.
