We have A LOT happening this month. From tonight’s takeover with NOK Vino to our first-ever Beaujolais WEEK to alllll the holiday prep, it’s a very busy season at Unruly! I’m excited about all of it.
Before I dive in, I need to alert you to a little sale happening this weekend at Wild Child. We have a lot of gorgeous wine arriving for the season, and that means we need to clean house. In an effort to make room, we’re offering 10% off the whole shop today until Sunday—both in-store and online. If you’re shopping online, use code FALLSALE for 10% off at checkout. If you’re popping by the shop, everything is 10% off! That includes wine, books, and pantry/home goods. Sale ends Sunday, so get an early start on holiday shopping, perhaps?

TONIGHT! NOK VINO AT REBEL REBEL
Join us for a celebration of local wine with Nico and Ryan of NOK Vino in New Hampshire.
Nico & Ryan are taking over the board and grooving with us tonight! Passionate ecological vine farmers getting after it in New Hampshire, they work with apples, pears, and hybrid grapes across a total of 9 acres.
What are hybrid grapes? Crosses between European grapevines and grapevines native to North America, bred the old-fashioned way via hand pollination, hybrid grapevines are much better at surviving & thriving in our humid New England summers and freezing winters. They’re the speciality at NOK—and a possible solution to the climate crisis in the wine industry.

BEAUJOLAIS WEEK
WE HAVE ARRIVED. What used to be our chaotic, one-night-only Beaujolais blowout at Rebel Rebel has grown up—just a little—and turned into a whole week of wine, food, and fun across the Unruly Hospitality family.
From November 16–20, we’re celebrating Beaujolais in all its forms—from Nouveau to Cru—at Dear Annie, Wild Child, and Rebel Rebel, with each spot bringing their own flavor to the fête.
Here’s what’s happening:
Bistro Night at Dear Annie — Sunday, November 16
A three-course prix fixe menu with optional wine pairings, oysters, fromages, and vin en carafe. Think cozy bistro energy, Unruly-style. Reserve via Resy.
Beaujolais Tasting at Wild Child — Wednesday, November 19
We’re opening bottles of Cru Beaujolais, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais Blanc, etc etc etc. It’s a free tasting (because we love you)—your tix complete the vibe with baguette, saucisson, and the good butter. RSVP via Eventbrite.
Rebel Rebel’s 5th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau + Pot-au-Feu Party — Thursday, November 20
The one that started it all. Over 20 Beaujolais wines by the glass, one giant stockpot of pot-au-feu cooked up by yours truly, and the best kind of organized chaos. Every bowl of pot-au-feu purchased buys groceries for the Community Fridge—this has been our tradition every year, but this year feels even more necessary. Tickets via Eventbrite.
All week long, proceeds benefit the Somerville Community Fridge.
