An Invitation to Dinner in The Jura

I’m thrilled to be giving you early access to a once-in-a-lifetime dinner we’re honored to be hosting at Dear Annie later this month!

Join us Friday, 2/27 for dinner with none other than Laura Bourdy, 16th generation winemaker and steward of historic Domaine Bourdy, one of the Jura’s most storied and influential estates.

We’re planning a 5-course tasting menu paired by yours truly with five of Domaine Bourdy’s traditional Jura wines, including rare delights like poulsard, trousseau, and the iconic vin jaune.

Laura is joining us to provide a narrative exploration of her family’s legacy in the region, along with the kind of deep dive into this singular terroir that only 800 years of family winemaking can claim!

The evening begins with a sparkling wine welcome reception at 6PM. Tickets include a 5-course tasting menu—an optional wine pairing is additional, and a la carte wines and non-alcoholic selections will also be available. Some dietary restrictions can be accommodated—please inquire by emailing or calling the restaurant before booking to confirm.

• Scallop crudo, Buttermilk dressing, Crispy ginger

• Clams, Garlic butter, sourdough, fermented garlic

• Roasted squash, black garlic, smoked dates, dukkah

• Smoked cod, dried tomato-caper sauce, matsutaki mushrooms

• Apple cake with toasted caramel + almond

Tickets are extremely limited, and newsletter subscribers are being granted early access—I’ll release the rest of the tickets to the public on Thursday, so please reach out with inquiries or book your tickets before they’re scooped up!

This event is aligned with the Boston Femme Fête festival, a celebration of women in wine around the world, and we’re thrilled to be hosting several amazing events with some of the wine world’s shining stars the week of February 23rd.
