Hi, friends.
A brief one on this hot October day…
First, I’m excited to announce that after a few months of beta-testing Family Meal, we’re now able to offer the same locally-sourced, organically grown meals for families of all sizes without a preorder!
Pickup is available at Dear Annie or Wild Child—simply select your preferred location! If the items are showing as available, they’re ready to pick up; they’ll show as sold out when they’re gone.
On the menu this week are Sweet + Smoky Featherbrook Farm Chicken Wings, Last-of-the-Season Grilled Corn on the Cob with Cilantro-Lime Aioli, and Vegan 3-Bean Chili! The rest of October’s menu is listed here. We look forward to taking dinner off your mind :)
WE HAVE ONE MORE THING TO OFFER YOU…
So, last week I let you know about the big walkaround tasting and book signing with Zev Rovine happening on 10/19 at Wild Child (those tickets are going fast, so scoop them up if you’re inclined!).
What I didn’t tell you about was the pre-tasting wine class Zev will be teaching for a lucky crew of you. We released those tickets to our Wine Club members first, and I’m happy to open them up to everyone today.
Zev will be hosting this exclusive Natural Wine 101 (but prob more like 401 if I’m being honest) class at Wild Child for a small group of you, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend attending if you’re even slightly inclined.
Zev Rovine is one of the defining figures in the rise of natural wine in the U.S. and beyond. A pioneer importer with an unerring eye for authenticity, he was among the first to champion small growers making wines with nothing added and nothing taken away—long before “natural wine” was a recognized movement. Through Zev Rovine Selections, he built a portfolio that has become a touchstone for sommeliers, retailers, and drinkers seeking wines of honesty, transparency, and terroir. His work not only gave voice to under-the-radar vignerons across Europe and beyond, but also helped create the cultural language of natural wine: one that blends rigorous commitment to farming and craft with a spirit of inclusivity, curiosity, and joy. Without Zev, the natural wine landscape in the U.S. would look profoundly different, and it’s a joy to be bringing this class to you all!
I hope you’ll join us! Tickets are available here.
ONE MORE THING
It’s been a while since I’ve dropped music here, so please enjoy this absolute banger from my wasted youth.
Finally! Thanks to everyone who made our first Monday at Dear Annie a smashing success! Y’all drank Lejeune-Dirvang 1er Cru Clos des Fourches for $16/glass and had a GRAND OLD TIME. Bless.
That’s all for now! Cheers, my babies.
XOXO,
Lauren
